THE NOUN NUMBER

We all are well acquainted with the term 'noun' and its kinds. Now, let us learn about The Noun Number.

What is the Noun Number?
Nouns which are countable can be divided into two groups which are as follows:

HOW TO CHANGE SINGULAR NOUN TO PLURAL NOUNS?

In order to change singular noun to plural nouns. We have to consider the following rules.

RULE 1:
Some nouns become plural by adding 's' to their ends.

Examples: Singular                      Plural
                    Boy                             Boys
                    Girl                              Girls

RULE 2:
Noun which have s, ss, sh, ch, z and x at their end become plural noun by adding 'es' at their ends.

Examples:  Singular                       Plural
                    Box                               Boxes
                   Class                             Classes
